The measuring cup is used to close the opening of the mixing bowl's lid. This prevents the splashing of ingredients when mixing on a high speed. When not in place, steam is allowed to freely escape and ingredients can be added through the lid's opening. It is advised to have the cup securely locked when processing hot food contents. Multo®'s measuring cup has a 3.5oz capacity with a 0.5oz level marks, or 100ml capacity with 20ml marks, and can be used for measuring small quantities of ingredients or liquids.
