Ingredients
7 OZ / 200 G all-purpose flour
0.5 TSP salt
5.5 OZ / 150 G butter
2.5 OZ / 70 ML ice water
2 TBSP vegemite
3.5 OZ / 100 G shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Cube the butter, then add it into the mixing bowl along with your flour and salt. Insert the measuring cup, knead using the knead mode for 30 seconds.
Add cold water through the top hole until the dough is formed. Knead for 20 seconds. Each flour has a different water content, so consistency may vary. You might want to alter the amount of water.
Remove the dough from the bowl. Shape it into a flat rectangle and allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
Roll the dough into a neat rectangle about 1 cm thick. Fold it by bringing the long end to the middle and repeat on the other side. Place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Repeat the process of rolling at least 3 times.
Preheat your oven to 220°C / 445°F. Roll out your pastry, about 1cm thick into a rectangle, spread your vegemite over the pastry and sprinkle the cheese over. Roll into a pinwheel and slice into 12. Bake for 15 minutes till cooked.
