This smooth creamy festive treat is great for your little ones at any New Year's Eve party.
Ingredients
1 EA vanilla pod
21 OZ / 600 ML milk
4 EA egg yolks
2 OZ / 50 G sugar
1 PINCH salt
1 OZ / 30 ML maple syrup
Directions
Halve the vanilla pod vertically and scrape out the seeds. Add all the ingredients to the mixing bowl.
With the measuring cup in place, cook the custard for 5 minutes / 212°F|100°C / speed 3.
With the scraper, give the custard a good mix. Attach the lid and cook again for 5 minutes / 212°F|100°C / speed 3.
Remove the vanilla pod and transfer to glasses. Adjust the sugar content as desired. Either serve it warm or allow it to cool in the fridge to serve it cold. Enjoy!
