cooking tips and tricks
If you fully wrap your chicken with the bacon, keep in mind that the bacon on the underside may cook slower than the exposed bacon. Watch to make sure the bacon is fully cooked before eating. Flipping the chicken for a few minutes at the end will work to fully cook bacon on the underside. Try to use thin-sliced bacon for best results.
What are the variations of the bacon wrapped chicken breasts?
The potatoes can be swapped for another carb of your choice. Macaroni and rice are good substitutions. You can also use sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes to make a mashed sweet potato side for your chicken.
Turkey bacon can be used instead of pork bacon. Turkey bacon is leaner but also has less protein than pork bacon and has a difference of about 25 calories.
