A perfect side to accompany your Thanksgiving dinner. The additional cider in this recipe is a fun alternative.
Ingredients
1 EA red cabbage
11.5 OZ / 330 ML dry apple cider
1 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
1 EA star anise
2 OZ / 50 G raisins
Directions
Prepare your cabbage by quartering and removing the core. Roughly cut the cabbage, then add them to the mixing bowl. Chop your cabbage for 10 seconds / speed 6.
Add your cider, raisins, star anise, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl. Braise your cabbage for 1 hour / 212°F|100°C / speed 1 / stir.
Strain your cabbage using the simmering basket, then place them onto a serving dish.
Enjoy your side dish!

TIPS:
Substitute the cider with apple juice for a kid-friendly variety.
Try using red wine for the recipe also.
You can adjust the speed while chopping the cabbage, as the size of the cabbage may vary.
