A refreshing frozen margarita that is great for any grown up dinner party.
Ingredients
21 OZ / 600 G water
5.5 OZ / 150 G sugar
5 OZ / 135 ML triple sec
3.5 OZ / 100 ML silver or reposado tequila
6 EA lime
1 TSP kosher salt
Directions
Add your sugar and water to the mixing bowl and make a syrup. Cook with the measuring cup removed for 20 minutes / 230°F|110°C. Once cooked, allow it to cool down for 10 minutes inside the mixing bowl.
Zest the limes, then cut in half and squeeze the juice into the mixing bowl.
Add the triple sec and tequila. Add the salt and combine the mix for 30 seconds / speed 4.
Freeze the sorbet mix in ice trays for at least 4 hours. If you do not have any ice trays, line a dish with cling film and chop up into squares after it was frozen.
Once the mix is completely frozen, add it back to the mixing bowl and with the measuring cup inserted, blend the sorbet for 8 seconds / speed 1.
Enjoy your dessert! Scope out into a bowl and eat immediately, or place in an air-tight container and freeze.
