Introducing a new snack to your breakfast table - Potato Pancakes! Eat it for your breakfast, a side dish to your lunch, or even as snacks while you are binge-watching. Have it ready whenever you want it!
Make these Potato Pancakes using only flour, potatoes, oil and water. The right amount of each will get you the perfect result!
Ingredients
5.5 OZ / 150 G all-purpose flour
10.5 OZ / 300 G yukon gold potatoes
1 PINCH salt
0.5 TSP baking powder
2 TBSP vegetable oil
26.5 OZ / 750 ML water
Directions
Peel, wash and cut the potato into chunks. Add to the simmering basket. Add the water to the mixing bowl and insert the simmering basket. Cook the potato using the steaming mode for 20 minutes. Remove the simmering basket and clean the mixing bowl. Set the potato to one side to allow the potato to cool.
Add the cooked potato, flour, salt and baking powder to the mixing bowl. Mix using the knead mode for 1 minute. Allow to rest for 10 minutes and remove.
Roll out the mix thinly, to about a quarter of an inch in thickness, with some extra flour. Using a cookie cutter, cut the dough out.
Using the oil, cook the potato pancakes on a skillet with medium heat for 2 minutes on either side till browned.
Serve smothered with any butter of your choice. Enjoy your snack!
