Directions
Add almonds, rice, and cinnamon stick to mixing bowl and cook for 5 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1.
Add brown sugar, water, vanilla extract, and kosher salt and stir for 1minutes / speed 1.
Let mixture sit, covered for 5 hours at room temperature, or overnight in the refrigerator and blend mixture for 2 minutes / speed 8.
Pass mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
Enjoy your horchata over ice!
