Broccoli with garlic butter is a simple, healthy and flavorful dish, made by steaming fresh broccoli florets and garlic in butter until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
Ingredients
21 OZ / 600 G broccoli
2 OZ / 50 G butter
0.5 EA lemon juice
5 CLOVE garlic
17.5 OZ / 500 ML hot water
1 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
Directions
Wash and trim the broccoli, then cut into florets. Place your broccoli in both the deep and shallow steaming trays. Make sure the larger florets are in the deep steaming tray and the smaller ones in the shallow steaming tray. Add your hot water. Steam the broccoli using the steaming mode for 20 minutes. Once done, remove both steaming trays and set aside. Empty the water from the mixing bowl.
Peel the garlic, then add to the mixing bowl and mince using the Turbo mode for 3 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add the butter with the juice of half a lemon to the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté with the measuring cup removed for 2 minutes / 265°F|130°C.
Add the broccoli to a serving dish, then drizzle over the garlic butter.
