A colorful combination of green beans, cauliflower, and carrots steamed perfectly with butter and seasonings.
Ingredients
10.5 OZ / 300 G green beans
21 OZ / 600 G cauliflower
21 OZ / 600 G carrots
17.5 OZ / 500 ML hot water
2 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
1 OZ / 25 G butter
Directions
Wash and peel the carrot, then cut it into 1cm thick circles. Add them to the simmering basket. Wash the cauliflower and cut it into florets, place your cauliflower in the deep steaming tray. Trim the ends from the green beans then add to the shallow steaming tray.
Add the hot water to the mixing bowl along with half of the salt. Insert the simmering basket, then attach both steaming trays. Steam the vegetables using steaming mode for 15 minutes till soft and tender.
Remove the steaming trays and set aside. Empty the carrot from the simmering basket, then arrange the other vegetables on the plate. Sprinkle over the remaining salt and pepper. Add the butter, then toss together.
