If you're looking for a way to jazz up those boring old carrots, give Multo's Maple Glazed Carrots a go. Trust us, they're so good, you might just start a carrot revolution in your kitchen. Bon appétit, my friend!
This delectable creation begins by steaming sliced carrots and cooking them in butter, allowing them to become tender and full of natural sweetness. To enhance their already enticing taste, we carefully coat the carrots with a luscious glaze crafted from maple syrup, which adds a perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes. A touch of salt and black pepper further elevates the flavor profile, creating a truly irresistible combination.
Ingredients
18 OZ / 510 G baby carrots with tops
0.5 TSP fine sea salt
0.25 TSP black pepper
4 SPRIGS rosemary
2 TBSP maple syrup
2 TBSP butter
18.5 OZ / 530 ML hot water
Directions
Peel the carrots and cut off the green tops, leaving a little bit of stem attached.
Add the water to the mixing bowl, then attach the deep steaming tray. Add the carrots to the deep steaming tray. Place the lid on and steam for 20 minutes.
In a large, non-stick skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the maple. Add the rosemary and allow it to infuse for 2 minutes.
Carefully remove the deep steaming tray. Add the carrots to the skillet and shake the skillet back and forth to coat the carrots with the maple-butter mixture. Sprinkle the carrots with salt and pepper, shaking the pan again to coat the carrots.
