Upgrade your butter with this combination of fresh citrus and aromatic herbs. Spread it on your bread, make it as a sauce for your veggies or poultry.
Ingredients
1 EA zest of a Lime
1 EA zest of a Lemon
1 OZ / 25 G thyme
1 TSP salt
9 OZ / 250 G softened butter
Directions
Using a peeler or paring knife, remove the skin from the fruit and pick the thyme leaves from the woody stem. Add the peeled skin to the mixing bowl along with the thyme. Chop on TURBO mode with the measuring cup inserted for 5 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl and repeat the process.
Insert the butterfly whisk into the mixing bowl, then add your salt and softened butter. Mix with the measuring cup inserted for 30 seconds / speed 3. Remove from the mixing bowl.

TIPS:
Try wrapping the butter into plastic wrap and roll it into a sausage, then freeze till ready.
This recipe will work great on top of fish or chicken.
