Introducing Taquera Sauce, the new addition to your favorite condiments! Taquera Sauce is a delicious blend of fresh and big tomatillos, onions, garlic, cilantro, and a special blend of spices that will surely excite your taste buds.
Ingredients
2 EA zucchini
4 EA tomatillo
2 EA serrano peppers
3.5 OZ / 100 G onion
1 EA garlic clove
3.5 OZ / 100 ML vegetable oil
2 OZ / 50 G cilantro
2 TBSP salt
35.5 OZ / 1 L hot water
2 TSP cilantro leaves
Directions
Cut your zucchini into chunks. Cut your tomatillo into quarters. Cut the serrano peppers tails. Cut onion into quarters. Peel your garlic clove.
Add the tomatillo, zucchini, 1 tbsp of salt and water into the mixing bowl. Close the lid and cook with the measuring cup inserted for 10 minutes / 212°F|100°C / speed 1 / stir. Strain and reserve the veggies.
Add your vegetable oil and serrano peppers into the mixing bowl. Close the lid and cook with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C. Cool down.
Once the oil and peppers are cooled down, add the cooked vegetables, quartered onion, garlic clove, cilantro and the remaining salt. Close the lid and blend with the measuring cup inserted for 20 seconds / speed 7.
Serve the sauce with cilantro leaves or store it for later. Enjoy!
