A sweet and creamy traditional Spanish custard with eggs and condensed milk, perfect for your festive dessert.
Ingredients
2 EA eggs
3 EA egg yolks
17.5 OZ / 500 ML milk
2 OZ / 50 G sugar
5.5 OZ / 150 G condensed milk
0.25 TSP salt
1 TSP vanilla extract
1 TSP ground cinnamon
26.5 oz / 750 ML boiling water
Directions
Add the egg yolks, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, condensed milk, sugar, milk and salt into the mixing bowl. Mix for 1 minute 30 seconds / speed 4.
Using a 7-inch serving dish, pour the milk mixture into the serving dish.
Add the hot water to the mixing bowl. Attach your deep steaming tray, then carefully add your custard. Cook for 40 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1 / stir.
The custard should still be wobbly in the middle. Place in the fridge to set for 1 hour. Dust with extra cinnamon. Enjoy your sweet!
