This Pea Fricassee with bacon, aromatic herbs, and thick sauce suits your meals wonderfully.
Ingredients
5.5 OZ / 150 G bacon
5.5 OZ / 150 G onion
2 EA garlic
2 OZ / 50 G butter
7 OZ / 200 ML chicken stock
1.5 OZ / 40 G flour
17.5 OZ / 500 G frozen peas
1 PINCH salt
1 PINCH pepper
1 TBSP thyme
Directions
Wash, peel and roughly chop the onion. Add the peeled garlic, thyme, bacon and onion to the mixing bowl. Chop the ingredients for 8 seconds / speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Cube the butter. Add the butter to the mixing bowl. Sauté with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add the peas and stock to the mixing bowl along with a little seasoning. Cook in sauté mode for 10 minutes / 265°F|130°C. Serve immediately.
