The classic Chinese comfort soup with light, umami broth.
Ingredients
53 OZ / 1.5 L chicken broth
2 TBSP light soy sauce
1 OZ / 25 G ginger
2 CLOVES garlic
5.5 OZ / 150 G bok choy
1 TBSP sesame oil
20 EA frozen wonton
2 SPRIG green onion
1 TSP salt
Directions
Slice the ginger and peel the garlic. Add both to the mixing bowl, along with the chicken broth and soy sauce. Heat the broth in steaming mode for 10 seconds.
While your broth heats up, wash your bok choy, then add it to the deep steaming tray. Thinly slice your green onions and reserve them for later.
Add your wontons and sesame oil into the mixing bowl. Insert the deep steaming tray and cook your soup for 12 minutes / 265°F|130°C. After it is cooked, remove the deep steaming tray.
Divide your wontons and greens into 4 bowls, then pour over the soup. Garnish with some slices of green onion.
