The best dairy free and lactose free alternative made with coconut. Add to your coffee or make excellent curry's out of it.
Ingredients
14 OZ / 400 G dry coconut
28 OZ / 800 ML hot water
Directions
Add the dried coconut and water to the mixing bowl and pulverize for 4 minutes / speed 10.
Line a fine-mesh sieve with cheesecloth and set the sieve over a medium bowl. Pour the coconut mixture through the sieve, pressing on the solids with the spatula to extract as much liquid as possible. Refrigerate until needed.

Notes: You can put the chopped coconut back to the mixing bowl along with 7oz of water for a second batch milk and repeat step 2.

TIPS:
The thickness of the milk will be determined by your ratio of water.
The leftover coconut can be baked in the oven and dried and keep as a coating or garnish dishes on top.
