A creamy milk based sauce laced with garlic and spinach. great with pasta for fish.
Ingredients
7 OZ / 200 G baby leaf spinach
3 EA garlic
1.5 OZ / 40 G flour
1.5 OZ / 40 G butter
16 OZ / 450 ML milk
0.5 TSP salt
1 PINCH white pepper
2 OZ / 50 G grated gruyere
Directions
Add the baby spinach into a bowl with clean water and allow to stand. Peel the garlic and then add to the mixing bowl and mix for 5 seconds. Scrape down the sides.
Add the butter to the mixing bowl and sauté the garlic with the measuring cup removed for 3 minutes. Drain the spinach.
Add the flour, milk, spinach, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and mix with the measuring cup in place for 10 minutes / 195°F|90°C / speed 3 / stir.
Add the cheese and mix again for 1 minute / speed 1 / stir.
