Ingredients
1 TBSP black pepper
0.5 TSP salt
0.5 TSP onion powder
0.5 TSP garlic powder
0.5 TSP cayenne pepper
0.5 TSP rosemary (dried)
4 OZ / 120 G bacon
5.5 OZ / 150 G onion
9 OZ / 250 ML beef stock
2 OZ / 50 ML chili sauce
4 OZ / 120 G honey
2 OZ / 50 G cashew
2 OZ / 50 G orange juice
2 OZ / 50 G lemon juice
2 EA garlic clove
1 TBSP tabasco
1 TBSP worcestershire sauce
3.5 OZ / 100 G butter
Directions
Finely chop bacon. Cut onion into quarters. Peel garlic cloves.
Add your onion and garlic cloves. Close the lid and chop in turbo mode with the measuring cup inserted for 30 seconds. Reserve.
Add cashews into the mixing bowl. Sauté with the measuring cup removed for 2 minutes. Reserve for later.
Add bacon, onion and garlic into the mixing bowl. Cook using the sauté mode with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes.
Add seasonings, beef stock, honey, chili sauce, tabasco sauce, worcestershire sauce, orange and lemon juice. Close the lid and cook with the measuring cup removed for 15 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 3 / stir.
TIP: You can adjust the stock to your liking.
Add butter to the mixing bowl. Close the lid and melt with the measuring cup inserted for 1 minute / speed 2 / stir. Let cool for 15 minutes. You can also speed it up with an ice bath.
Add the toasted cashews to the mixing bowl. Close the lid and blend the sauce for 2 minutes / speed 7.
The sauce is ready to use, you can store it or use it immediately in your favorite dishes. Enjoy your sauce!
