A creamy and cheesy Italian side dish, ready in under 45 minutes.
Ingredients
3.5 OZ / 100 G parmesan cheese
17.5 OZ / 500 ML water
12.5 OZ / 350 ML whole milk
2 OZ / 50 G butter
2.5 TSP salt
7 OZ / 200 G polenta
1 TSP black pepper
Directions
Add parmesan to the mixing bowl. Chop for 10 seconds / speed 6. Transfer to a separate bowl and set aside.
Add water, milk, butter and kosher salt to the mixing bowl. Cook for 5 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1.
Add polenta to the mixing bowl. Cook the polenta with the measuring cup inserted for 25 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1.
Add your parmesan cheese and black pepper to the mixing bowl. Season to taste with more salt and mix again for 30 seconds / speed 2. Serve the polenta immediately.

Recipe Note
TIP:
For a firmer polenta, spread onto a baking sheet and allow to cool down. Once set, portion the dish then pan fry in butter or in the broiler.
