Chicken drumsticks with a special tomato sauce on top of soft seasoned zucchini.
Ingredients
17.5 OZ / 500 G canned tomatoes
2 TBSP tomato puree
3.5 OZ / 100 G onion
2 CLOVES garlic
2 OZ / 50 G carrot
2 OZ / 50 G celery
3.5 OZ / 100 G chicken stock
1 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
4 TBSP olive oil
3.5 OZ / 100 G red wine
1 TBSP brown sugar
14 OZ / 400 G tomato
17.5 OZ / 500 G zucchini
4 EA chicken drumsticks
Directions
Remove the skin from the drumsticks and place them in the deep steaming tray. Season very well with salt and pepper. Cut the zucchini in rounds and place them in the shallow steaming tray. season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
Peel and quarter your onion, then add to the mixing bowl along with the garlic, carrot and celery. Chop the vegetables for 10 seconds / speed 6. Scrape down the sides. Chop the tomatoes into dice.
Add half your olive oil to the mixing bowl and sauté the vegetables in Sauté mode with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes.
Add the wine. Cook in Sauté mode for 5 minutes.
Insert the measuring cup, then pulverize the mix for 5 seconds / speed 8. Scrape down the sides.
Add your canned tomatoes, tomato puree, salt, sugar and stock to the mixing bowl. Insert the steaming set. Cook the sauce and chicken for 25 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1.
TIP: If your chicken drumsticks are large you may need to increase the cooking time until fully cooked.
Remove the steaming sets, reserve for later, then blend the sauce with the measuring cup inserted for 10 seconds / speed 8.
Add your chopped tomato to the mixing bowl and adjust the seasoning. Mix the tomatoes through the sauce for 10 seconds / speed 2 / stir. Place the chicken on top of the zucchini and the sauce goes over the top.

Recipe Note
TIP:
Skip the final process if you wish to keep the sauce chunky. For a lighter sauce, remove the tomato puree and use white wine instead of red wine.
