Ingredients
5.5 OZ / 150 G barley
5.5 OZ / 150 G onions
5.5 OZ / 150 G zucchini
2 OZ / 50 G green peas
3 CLOVES garlic
3.5 OZ / 100 G cherry tomatoes
28 OZ / 800 ML low-sodium chicken broth
3.5 OZ / 100 G asparagus
2 EA chicken breast
1 OZ / 25 G olive oil
1 PINCH salt
1 PINCH pepper
Directions
Peel your onion and garlic cloves. Add the onion and garlic to the mixing bowl. Chop using the TURBO function for 5 seconds with the measuring cup inserted. Use the spatula to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add the oil. Using the sauté mode, sauté with the measuring cup removed for 2 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
Add barley. Sauté with the measuring cup removed for 2 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
Add the stock. Cook with the measuring cup removed in sauté mode for 10 minutes / 250°F|120°C. While your barley is cooking, slice your cherry tomatoes in half and then chop the zucchini into small dice.
Add the chopped zucchini, along with the green peas and the halved cherry tomatoes. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the deep steaming tray. Trim the asparagus and add them to the shallow steaming tray. Attach the steaming set and cook again for 20 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 1 / stir.
