A green salsa with lots of spicy flavor, this recipe blends parsley, mint, basil, capers, anchovies and garlic into a juicy, zesty dip. A perfect peppery addition to your favorite gluten-free meal.
Ingredients
0.5 BUNCH flat-leaf parsley
5 SPRIGS mint
5 SPRIGS basil
1 CLOVE garlic
2 TBSP capers
4 EA anchovies
3 TBSP red wine vinegar
4 TBSP olive oi
0.5 TSP fine sea salt
0.25 TSP black pepper
Directions
Remove the parsley, mint, and basil leaves from the stems.
Peel the remaining garlic clove.
Rinse the capers and anchovies, then pat dry.
Add the herbs, garlic, capers, anchovies, vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the mixing bowl. Puree for 10 seconds/speed 8.
Use spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Puree again for 10 seconds/speed 8.
