From the Middle East comes a delicious and nutritious dish - Kale Falafel, made with garbanzo beans. This greeny delight is sure to fill you up with all the fiber you need.
Ingredients
14 OZ / 400 G canned garbanzo beans
2 SPRIGS flat leaf parsley
1 TSP garlic powder
1 TSP ground cumin
1 TSP chili powder
2 TBSP olive oil
2 CLOVES garlic
3.5 OZ / 100 G kale
2 OZ / 50 G gram flour
Directions
Add your parsley and picked kale to the mixing bowl. Chop the kale and parsley on turbo mode for 10 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Drain the garbanzo beans in the simmering basket, then add them along with your garlic powder, 1 TBSP of gram flour, cumin, olive oil and chili powder to the mixing bowl. Mix for 30 seconds / speed 4.
TIP: Add some salt to taste, depending on the saltiness of the chickpeas.
Divide the falafel into 12 balls, then roll through gram flour. Press slightly to flatten the ball and pan-fry on medium to high heat for 3 minutes on each side till crispy.
